Information Systems and Computer Applications CLEP Test

The Information Systems and Computer Applications CLEP test covers the material that is taught in a one-semester class at the 101 college level. For this CLEP test, you will need to be able to not only know and understand the vocabulary, you will have to apply that knowledge in order to answer questions. This CLEP test assumes that you know and understand general information about computers and their applications. It does not test on the details of hardware design, specific programming techniques or certain software packages, such as Microsoft Office. You need to know what word processing, presentation, spreadsheets, data management are and how they are applied. You do not need to know specific software.

You will need to answer 100 questions in 90 minutes. There is no penalty for guessing on the test and there are some pretest questions included that are not scored.

This clep test includes information on database management systems, programming languages, software development and tools, privacy concerns, information about the internet, servers, careers in information systems and processing and more.
